The competition for single fiber splicers is greater-there are far fewer mass fusion splicing OEMs in the world compared to single, hence greater reductions. Core-alignment splicers specifically have seen the largest percentage drop, even though they are not the lowest-cost splicer. Single fiber splicers have experienced the largest price concessions.
